Your Goals Are Never Convenient

Ever have one of those weeks where you just can't seem to get it straight?

That was me this week.

I am the QUEEN or organization, prioritization, and getting $HiT done, but this week I just couldn't get it right.

Coming back from a conference late Monday night, and running right into a busy work week resulted in--

Staying up until midnight working each night, getting up at 6am to work each morning, not hitting my macros some days, and HUSTLING through my workouts.

And here's the thing.

I completely sold MYSELF short this week.

The quality of my workouts were--MEH.

The quality of my work was--MEH.

Working longer and harder isn't always the way.

Smarter is the way, and I know better!

I haven't blogged in 3 days, because once Thursday hit, I was completely exhausted and overwhelmed.

So Friday- I cut the crap and focused on me.

I got in a killer workout at the gym with legs and 50 minutes on the stepper.

I went back to food prepping and planning.

It's crazy how off track you get when you don't plan.

Meal prepping and planning ISN'T convenient.

I can't wait to get groceries, meal plan, and prep.. said NO PERSON EVER.

Unless you are a mom and your only sanity is going to the grocery store alone.

I can't wait to bust my A$$ on a stepper for 50 minutes, said NO PERSON EVER.

Unless you are my coach, who loves the stepper. :P

But if you want to see results, planning and hard work is NECESSARY.

This is by far the hardest I have ever worked at a goal.

I have my degree, multiple fitness certifications, and I've crushed Beachbody Programs and running 5ks, but THIS is no freaking joke.

Every day counts and you have to give 110%.

So I'm back. I'm focused. I'm prepped. I'm ready.

I spent all day with my family today, playing outside in the sunshine, taking Oliver to his first movie to see Finding Dory, and connecting with my husband.

I also went for a run, an activity that I love and always clears my head.

Lastly, I gave lots of shout outs and support to my teammates and clients today.

When you start to lose sight of your goals, help other people reach theirs.

Inspiration and motivation is contagious.

It might not always be convenient, but this kind of movement is contagious.

Day 27 of 168.....DONE!
